Tate’s focus is on providing exceptional customer experiences and is anchored to a commitment to consistently provide personalized service, affordable solutions, and reliable advice. Tate grew up in Fryeburg, Maine and graduated from Fryeburg Academy. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business at Bentley University in Waltham, MA and also has accredited designations from Universities in Italy, Turkey, and most recently The Wharton School of Business. Tate brings extensive experience in the insurance industry and is passionate about serving his communities and helping customers protect what they’ve worked hard for. In his spare time, Tate enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, golfing, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors!

With over 20 years’ experience in insurance and the Allstate family brand, Megan Dougherty, is passionate about the many personal connections she has made and deep-rooted knowledge of clients’ needs. Megan’s tenure with Allstate began in 2003 where she quickly made her way up the ranks as Sales Producer, Office Manager, and now leading Operational and Human Resource efforts as the Chief Operating Officer at Ficker Insurance Group. Megan focuses on strategic planning, business development, and operational effectiveness. Megan demonstrates a strong ability to engage with clients and develop trust and repour with the many partners she works with. Megan’s family, including her husband, twin girls and son enjoy spending time in their favorite haven, Rangeley where they enjoy hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Sety Fu joined the Agency in 2017 as a Licensed Sales Professional following graduation from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Business Administration. Sety has continued to grow in his roles at the agency while spending his time focused on supervising sales, service, and employee development. Sety operates with a customer-first approach and treats his peers and clients like family. In his spare time, Sety enjoys music and the outdoors.

Anthony Benson has a passion for business. Receiving his Associates degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire, he knew he wanted to use his education to propel his promising career. Anthony’s positive, calming demeanor gives customers a sense of comfort in knowing he will address their concerns and creatively form solutions to assist them in their needs. He has quickly and effectively emulated the agencies core values, goals and customer-first approach. Much of his compassion and innate skills are derived from his time spent with children as an after-school educator and as a representative and ambassador at a local market. Outside of work, Anthony’s passions include spending time with family, enthusiastically coaching 7th and 8th grade boys lacrosse for his local middle school, and trying new and unique foods Southern Maine has to offer.

Devon Ficker is a licensed agent who focuses her time supporting the agency in its operational and recruitment goals. With a background in Development at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Devon’s native and experiential compassion for aiding people is what drives her. In her spare time, Devon enjoys spending time with family, golfing, cooking and exploring the woods with her children and Goldendoodle, Teddy.

Lunden Hughes is a talented insurance agent with prior experience as a SMT Manufacturing Specialist at Enercon Technologies and in the shipping and receiving department at L.L. Bean. A dedicated team member and collaborator, Lunden is focused on his goal to enhance the agencies goals, conquer obstacles, and maintain a positive and highly respected customer satisfaction guarantee. Graduating from Edward Little High School with a 3.7 GPA, honor role achievement, and an Academic Excellence Award, Lunden excels at anything he puts his mind to. Lunden has always enjoyed sports, specifically football and basketball and can be seen attending, watching or playing sports. Lunden is also a diehard Steelers fan, music enthusiast, and secret-weapon, a talented guitar player!

With over 10 years of experience in sales and customer service, Joel has a passion for helping customers and building relationships. Joel’s prior work experience includes six years with Prudential Financial where he oversaw the management of various insurance claims and helped many customers along the way find better wellness within their finances. Outside of work, Joel is passionate about music and exploring the great Maine outdoors.

Derek Faile’s career began in the warehouse industry at the Walmart Distribution Center. In his five years in order fulfillment, he was regarded as one of most efficient dispatchers in the department. Working alongside department trainers, Derek always strove to achieve the highest level of success while perfecting his craft. Sales piqued Derek’s interest having been behind the scenes in distribution. After a lot of research across a vast number of industries, Derek couldn’t help but notice that Insurance continued to check the box. He obtained licensing on his own and applied for a role at Ficker Insurance Group, and it has been a perfect match. Derek’s focus on making genuine connections with people and educating them on protecting their finances sets him apart. Delivering the highest quality service, maintaining integrity, empathy, reliability, and a positive attitude are of utmost importance. Derek enjoys cooking, hiking, combat sports and spending time with his fiancé and two kids.

Angie Emery has over 8 years of personal lines insurance experience. Along with a background in insurance, she also applies her unique skills which include extensive experience in providing exceptional customer service, owning and operating her own small business, as well as manager of operations, growth, and social media marketing for a local, Maine-based small business. Her passion for helping people, along with relationship building and networking will help her achieve her career goals in the insurance industry. When not in the office Angie enjoys time with friends and family, reading, cooking, working out, and enjoying nature - preferably the beach.

Timothy Chappelle graduated from the University of Maine with a double major in Business Management and Information Systems gaining valuable business knowledge and skills during his time there. His prior experience in operations, sales, and customer service, has allowed him to effectively contribute to the agency's goals and work to meet a variety of customer needs. Tim is compassionate and considerate of the customer’s he serves. His goal is to continue to offer high-quality customer service and create long-lasting relationships at the Agency. In his spare time, Tim enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, playing, and watching soccer.

Christianna is a dedicated professional with over five years of insurance experience. Christianna is known for building strong, lasting relationships and genuinely connecting with people. She understands that being an insurance agent means guiding clients through life’s ups and downs, especially during difficult times when her expertise matters most. Christianna’s passion for helping others grew from early career experiences that allowed her to connect meaningfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, Christianna enjoys baking, creating art, journaling, and cherishes time with her husband and their beloved animals.

Sara Bartlett has over 15 years of insurance experience and a proven track record of providing exceptional service to our customers. Sara's deep industry knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication make her a valuable member of our team, and even more importantly a valuable advisor for our customers. Sara is passionate about ensuring every customer receives personalized care and dedicated support.

With over a decade of prior experience in Retail and Operations Management, David transitioned to Ficker Insurance Group after recognizing the important role insurance plays in providing stability and peace of mind during uncertain times. David's professional experience translates seamlessly to his role at the agency where he supports customer needs through his passion for helping others and delivering meaningful solutions. David moved to Maine with his wife and their three cats in 2023 and has quickly embraced everything the state has to offer. Outside of work, he can often be found exploring local beaches in search of sea glass or hiking new trails discovered online. An avid baseball fan, David also enjoys cooking and spending time tending to his vegetable garden.

Maria Kornsey brings a strong background in law, office management, and administration to the agency. She has experience as a paralegal in criminal defense, real estate, insurance litigation, and medical and dental malpractice, and most recently served as an office manager at an accounting firm. In her role, Maria oversees a wide range of operational responsibilities, supporting customer service, agency logistics, and the day-to-day agency needs. A Maine resident since the age of four, Maria recently moved from Portland to Hallowell with her husband. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, dancing, painting, and playing the violin.

Chris Hawkins brings nearly a decade of insurance experience and more than 12 years of customer service experience to the agency. He began his insurance career specializing in auto insurance, where he developed a strong foundation in coverage, risk assessment, and helping customers make informed decisions. Today, Chris enjoys helping individuals and families find the right protection at the best possible value. Whether it’s reviewing an existing policy or building a customized insurance strategy, he takes pride in showing customers that they can often improve their coverage while saving money. He is passionate about learning, growing, and providing an exceptional customer experience, with a goal of becoming an important consultant for every customer he serves. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys running, swimming, weightlifting, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and four children.

Craig Hicks brings more than 32 years of insurance experience to our agency, with an extensive background in both claims and sales. Having spent 15 years helping customers through the claims process and 17 years working in onboarding new customers, Craig offers a well-rounded understanding of the insurance industry and a genuine passion for serving customers. Known for his approachable personality and commitment to helping others, Craig takes pride in building lasting relationships and providing outstanding customer service. His depth of knowledge allows him to guide customers through their insurance needs with confidence, whether they’re selecting the right coverage or navigating a claim. Craig is a valued member of Tate Ficker’s team and continuously looks forward to helping customers protect what matters most while contributing to the agency’s continued growth and success. Outside of work, Craig has been married to his wife, Kelsey, for 30 years and is a proud grandfather to six grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing cornhole, and spending time with family and friends.
